33rd Korfball Senior National Championship is being held on December 26-29

The 33rd Korfball Senior National Championship is being held on December 26-29, 2021 at the Indoor Stadium, Polo Ground, Patiala. This information was given by Dr. Kamaldeep Singh IRS, President, Patiala District Korfball Association, Deputy Commissioner Income Tax. He said that this is the first National Korfball Championship to be held in indoor stadium and this National Championship is dedicated to the memory of Karamjit Singh Jasarwalia ji. More than 500 players from more than 24 state teams are coming to participate in this championship. Korfball is the only sport in the world where boys and girls play together. This is the only pure mixed gender sport in world . A team of Korfball consists of 8 boys and 8 girls. Dr Kamaldeep also informed that CREDAI are the main sponsors of this tournament .
The championship is being hosted by Korfball Association of Punjab. Its Chairman is Mr. Surjit Singh Rakhra and President is Mr. Bikram Jeet Singh Brar PPS. Apart from these, the association also includes Dayinder Singh Sidhu IRS, Rajesh Dhiman IAS Virinder Singh Brar PPS , Harpal Singh PPS. Two international players Pradeep Kumar Topal and Preetinder Singh were also present at the press conference.
